Water Taxi ― Alternative to Rush Hour

Working day in the morning is a rush hour for people in Seoul, everyone try to escape from traffic jam and hurry to go to work. In the rush hour that they have to face everyday, they have to find a suitable way for themselves. I choose this news because they all have to face with traffic jam along the road and They have to squeezed with loads of people while they are on the train. Is that make they feel bored? I got a better way to serve them working transportation.


There is a couple in Seoul that tried to be different from another people, They decided to escape from the road by floating with the boat "Water Taxi" on Han river. It will take you about 30 minutes faster than on the roads if you take the boat trip from Gwangjin-gu eastern Seoul to Yeouido, western Seoul.The water service had open on last October and it is control by the government city. These transport is also provide for tourists and commuters but it is similar to those in Sydney and Venice. The water taxi service for commuters is available from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the morning and 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the evening which the trip will leave every 10 minutes. The fare is 5,000 won per person. In conclusion, some people are exciting about the new transport way, the government have to build it more to support the people that want to escape from the traffic jam .In my opinon the government should also care about the accident that can happen anywhere and anytimes because people paid the money to the service. As soon as the Water Taxi spread more routes it will be very crowded which this transportation can make the people travel by the road have more comfortable.

Taxi, express bus passengers obliged to wear seatbelts

Many people have to travel along nights and days, some have they own car but some have to go by passenger car. I choose this article because accident always happen to those who never follow traffic regulations seriouly. Most people not usually wear seatbelts while they are on a taxi ,so this should be a good chance to change thier daily routine.


Not only passengers in private car but also passengers in taxi and express bus driver must wear the safety belts otherwise they have to pay the penalty. It will charged a 100,000 won or about $82 for taxi and bus driver ,and 200,000 won for operators of taxis and buses. This rule will be very useful to decrease the number of the sufferer and death tolls.

I do agree with this new rule, people will remind themselves that they must to wear the safety belts whenever they are travel by cars and buses otherwise they have to pay expensive fine . Also, the express driver will not prefer to pay that much fine they will carefully check their passengers before driving, in case thier passenger do not want to wear safety belt the driver should kick them out. Actually, I think this rule should be active as soon as possible. It such a clever rule to safe people form accidents. I know that wearing safety belt is not comfortable but I am sure that It can escort you form bad accidents.It is no a bad thing to wear safety belt but it is a very right thing to do.

Teachers reported for helping students cheat uniform tests

Some people always cheating, even on the test they still want to get the highest score by take other people hands. Teachers are one of student target because they know a lot of tips and tricks. Finally some of the teachers were control by thier lovely students. The reason that I choose this article because I feel disappointed to this behavior. I strongly disagree with people who are cheat in education because deep through our mind we know what we had done and it stucks on our mind forever.


There are many teachers in North Chungcheong Province of Korea that try to cheat the test answers for their students. Students can achieve higher scores by ask their teachers. There are more than 30 cases of cheating during the pre-test for two days. Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union said that regional brunch have recieved more that 30 cases of cheating that provide from teachers and some of students had give as clues. Some of the accusations lacked grounds, while more than 10 caese were distrust. According to their report, The auditor teachers give a signal for answer to their students. They will be able to write on student's answer sheet if the answer are incorrect. North Chungcheong Province has the worstest student's test results in Korea. School's headmaster have been called into superintendants officer and blame them as a poor caution. The KTU claims that teachers skipped the topic and concern more on the test paper.The students have get their punnishment to come to school early and leave late for special training

In my opinion, These cases should not happen in school because we should have our target in life and we should face with the right things. If every students got their answer before the exam ,so what is the point to sit in the exam.. for more information

Korea needs to expand admissions officer system

Nowaday, there are a lot of compitition to apply to the famous university. Why students have to race with education?? Well, Education has become more influence to human's life. People who gain more knowledge seem to be more sucessful than those who gain less knowledge. I pick up this article becasue there are some controversy about the fairness, whether to judge students form their character or their scores.

Numbers of University are growing in Korea. The admission system in every universities assess more than their test scores. Koreans believe that good education make student to be creative and talent person. At the begin of this year, some of the top universities choose to consider students from their grade point average (GPA).This still confusing many students and parents. They also think it is unfair, Although many korean colleges are seeking to secure the fairness.The admission is challenging for students. However,the most importance of college role is to try to fit students in good future careers not only focusing on find the best student

In my view point,score is useful to classify student because it must be very very hard and waste of time to choose the student without their score. Score shows students skill and ability. However, it is not everything. Sometimes,I do not think to get in a great university is nessary.My parents were not in the best college ,but they have a wonderful life.They have a good family and job which does not earn a lot of money but they are happy doing it. In the other hand, there are a lot of compitition in the world today.To get in a good college still essential.

South Korea makes history in World Cup !!

I decided to choose this article because Korea was done well in Football World Cup than I was expected no matter they did not win . I assure that if they do more practise, Korea is the one of many countries people are catch thier eyes on. I feel really proud of Korea because Korea is a country form Asia.

In this story, Korea took nearly 50 years to joy Football World Cup. Huh Jung-moo, a former korean football player and the former coached of the korean national team, realised they mistake and going to improve the next matches.Once he said "One loss means it's over in a knockout bracket. Nobody knows what will happen and anything can happen. I am sure my boys will do their best, aiming higher than expected." From what he said shows that he is a good team's manager who always improving and supporting his team.

In my opinion, I quite impress after read this news even though Korea was not the winner. They were never stop improving themselves and never give up. They was a good teamwork and sportmanship.These are the reason why South korea was done well in Football World Cup

Kim Yu-na named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

Kim Yu-na is the first female skater to win an Olympic Games,the World Championship,and the Four Continents Championships.She is one of the most highly recognize athletes in South Korea. Not only kim is an excellent athlete ,but also she is a very kind person. I am one of her big fan. Actually, I do not like any kind of sport but at the first time I saw kim performing,I just can not take my eyes off her.She got a very beautiful friendly face and outstanding talents.

In this story, Kim Yu-na got the mission as UNICEF goodwill ambassador to improve children's life around the world. There are many children around the world still have a bad quanlityof life such as children and families who still suffering form earthquake , flood and hurricane.

After I read this story,I found that Kim Yu-na is not only has an outside beauty,but she also has an inside beauty which is winning people's hearts.Kim has been a generous donor.She has donated more than 2 billion won in last three years.
